At Shaw’s Garden Centre, we’re proud to offer one of the widest selections of plants in the region — and the majority are grown right here in our own nursery. From colourful bedding plants and vibrant perennials to hardy shrubs, trees, roses, climbers, and a wide range of indoor plants, our stock is nurtured with care to be strong, healthy, and ready to thrive in your home or garden.

We grow around 80% of everything we sell, covering over 3 acres of nursery space. Our heated glasshouses and polytunnels are filled with tender bedding and basket plants, while our outdoor nursery produces a huge range of hardy trees, shrubs, conifers, and perennials. Every plant is carefully grown, checked, and fed by hand to ensure the highest quality — we believe the personal care makes all the difference.

Seasonal favorites are a big part of what we do. From early spring, gardeners can choose from a wide range of seedlings, fuchsias, geraniums, and basket plants. By summer, our famous hanging baskets and pots are overflowing with colour, while our roses, bamboos, rhododendrons, azaleas, and Japanese maples take centre stage. Indoors, we offer everything from lush foliage plants to flowering houseplants, perfect for adding greenery and life to your living space.

Our passion for plants extends beyond our garden centre. We’re proud suppliers to local councils and community projects, including Nottingham’s Britain in Bloom, where many of the award-winning displays are grown by us.
